Hayley Hamlin Photography Capturing the Beauty and Art of Dance

I have been photographing dancers for 17 (of my 19) years in business. I specialize in dance/ballet photography and have worked hard to gain ballet and technique knowledge to make sure your dancer shines no matter what age or level they are at in their dance journey. Trust me, any dancer that has worked with me will tell you, I am very picky about proper technique! I have a beautiful studio/loft with big beautiful natural light windows, old brick and the famous “chippy wall”. It is supplied with tons of dance attire, like tutus, skirts, dresses, flowy fabric and I also have a ballet barre on site to use for dance photos, etc.

As a dance mom myself, I know the time and money that is invested into the art of dance. Your dancer spends countless hours at the studio and puts their heart and soul into dancing. That is why it is so important to hire a dance photographer that can capture your dancer technically, beautifully and artfully! From 3-year-olds to professional dancers, your images will showcase the Beauty and Art of Dance!

The honest truth is not everyone can photograph dancers. If your photographer does not know basic things like if a foot is sickled or in a correct position, what turnout is, what basic foot positions are like fourth or fifth, what placement is for an arabesque, passe' or attitude, then your dancer will not get good images. You have such a small window of time to click the shutter when the dancer hits peek movement. If the person behind the camera doesn’t know what that moment is, how can they possible capture it. I have spent 17 years developing and fine tuning this craft, together we will make Beautiful ART!
